TESTIMONIALS...

"I would personally like to appreciate all the hard work and diligent effort that Sandra has put into organising the WSTTS. Her persistent hard work and research has given the team a renewed outlook and understanding of the journey that the West Indian Regiment undergo during its formation. On behalf of all the team leaders and the wider members of the WSTTS, I would like to thank Sandra for her services for the last two years. We are grateful to have Sandra as one of the team leads in this project and we understand and value her contribution to bringing this project to fruition.

Her dedication to work, and desire to experiment and find new ways of achieving goals, such as organising the Teams meeting during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic when face to face meeting was not possible. Her out of the box thinking and personal involvement is unparalleled.

It will not be an exaggeration if I say that Sandra is the captain of this project and that without her dedication, hard work and efforts this project would not have been completed in time and with this kind of quality. I am surely looking forward to seeing what direction Sandra will take this movement.

On behalf of the team leaders and the new members, we are grateful to have Sandra Patterson as a member of the WSTTS and we hope to see her growth in this endeavour.

Thanking you."

"Sandra has a passion to unearthing important history with the fitting title 'We shall tell their story' and to share her research with the public. It was at one of her public event, during Black History Month 2019, that she invited me to speak on behalf of TNCMC. Her display of literature and video graphics we extremely educational, especially to the young people in attendance."

"The aim was to raise awareness of the contributions and sacrifices of Black and ethnic minority groups given for Britain during the wars, and how proud we should be of their contributions. Feedback forms were handed out, the responses  were positive"
